I’m back again, with yet another update from this past Howard Homecoming weekend. Sunday night, D.C.’s premier skate shop, Palace 5ive, hosted a cipher session with some of the area’s hottest up-and-coming MC’s. The event was put together by none other than 25 Magazine, shout out to them for orchestrating a spectacular event! And a HUGE shout out to Greg and the whole P5 staff for hosting such a positive event for the DMV hip-hop scene. Peace to all the familiar faces I saw in the building, and peace to all the new faces I met! Now, check out Urea 51′s coverage of the event!

I kno its been a while, but I’m back! and if you aint kno, last weekend was Howard University’s homecoming, so the DMV was a MADHOUSE all week! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to partake in all the festivities but I DO have some flicks from Yardfest…shout out all my Twitter/NikeTalk fam I saw out on the yard!

So over the weekend one of the DMV’s hottest up-and-comer’s, Phil Ade; shot his first video for the song “Hollywood” off of his mixtape, Starting On JV. Tabi Bonney did an amazing job directing it, and I cant wait to see the final product. In the meantime, we can catch a sneek preview of things to come with these photos I took.

Peace world! i hope everybody had a good Labor Day weekend…i kno i did…got a chance to head down to the 757 for Norfolk State University’s Labor Day Classic football game Vs. Virginia State. Unfortunately, i couldnt hang for the whole weekend but its cool…got some nice flix and a couple new pick ups thanks to my uncontrollable compulsive shopping habit…shout out to everybody i saw over the weekend!

Over this past weekend, urea super-producer Judah put together an artist showcase at D.C.’s premier skate shop Palace 5ive, for D.C.’s brightest up-and-comers Phil Ade´and Ra The MC called He Said, She Said. Overall, great venue+good turnout+ill performances=outstanding event! The pictures speak for themselves.
